As a small, local, Vermont based, company we are truly lucky. With a wide variety of local ingredients to utilize and defined seasons to apply them in we will never be without inspiration. With the diverse and skilled group of cultivators the state has to offer we will never be without beautiful cannabis to showcase. Cultivar Chocolates is a marriage of craft and quality in both chocolate and cannabis that comes together to tickle your senses and help you find true joy in the form of chocolate.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

For nearly 15 years, Cultivar Chocolates founder Andrew Peterson has worked in and around the Vermont food industry. Born and raised in Vermont, Andrew studied at the Culinary Institute of America in the Hudson Valley of New York. Having worked in fine dining from coast to coast, at prominent establishments such as High Cotton (Charleston, SC), Central Provisions (Portland, ME), Restaurant 1833 (Monterey, CA), the Nantucket Yacht Club (Nantucket, MA), and Hen of the Wood (Burlington, VT), Andrew has taken a step back from the restaurant business to refocus on what gives his life meaning.

Andrew has always been just as passionate about cannabis as he is about food, making a transition into cannabis edibles a natural move. Today, Andrew heads the edibles department at X-Tract Vermont and produces edibles for multiple brands recognized for quality and innovation. In this new and exciting adventure, Andrew brings to Vermont a unique product that balances the richness found in gourmet chocolate with the powerful effects and complexity of strain-specific cannabis extracts. Each elevating each other to create unmatched edible experiences and pure moments of joy!
